In the opening round of the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament, the Eagles shot their way past Rockford College to advance to the semifinals. The Eagles will travel to Benedictine University on Thursday night in a rematch of last season's conference tournament championship game. Tipoff from the Rice Center is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Edgewood College topped Benedictine 84-71 in their meeting on December 10 in Madison. Both teams shot better than 50 percent from the field and Edgewood College made a blistering 61.1 percent of their attempts from three-point range.

Edgewood College leads the all-time series with Benedictine 7-5. The only time the teams have met in a conference tournament was a season ago when Benedictine took a 70-59 home victory in the NAC Tournament Championship game.
