After a six-day holiday break, Edgewood College men's basketball travels to Texas for the Mary Hardin-Baylor Cru Classic. The Eagles will face Concordia University (Texas) on Friday before taking on host school University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday. Both contests will be played at the Mayborn Center in Belton, Texas.

Edgewood College has never faced either Concordia Texas or Mary-Hardin Baylor. The Eagles have only faced a team from Texas twice in their history. On March 6, 1990, Edgewood College faced Paul Quinn College at the NSCAA National Tournament and fell 89-68. The only other meeting with a Texas team was at home against the University of Dallas in January 2005 when the Eagles won 68-38.
