Eagles travel to Benedictine for NAC Tournament Title

It's one game, winner take all for a spot in the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament when Edgewood College meets Benedictine University on Saturday night. The Eagles earned their place by defeating Concordia University Wisconsin 95-89 on Friday night. The Northern Athletics Conference Tournament champion receives the league's automatic bid to the Big Dance.

Saturday's contest at the Rice Center will have a live video broadcast, provided by Benedictine University. Eagles fans can find links to webcast under the calendar on the front page of EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.

Edgewood College lost to Benedictine University 75-70 in their first meeting this season on December 11. Edgewood College is only 1-2 on the road in their last three games against Benedictine.

However, Edgewood College leads the all-time series 6-3. Edgewood College last road win in the series was last year at Elmhurst College while the Rice Center was getting renovated. This will be the first time Edgewood College will square off against Benedictine the conference tournament.
