Eagles hope to secure home tournament game this week

Jeff Barczak
After a pair of victories last week, the Eagles clinched a Northern Athletics Conference Tournament berth and have a chance to clinch a home game with a win over Lakeland College on Thursday night. The Eagles then host Aurora University at Edgewood College's annual Jam the Gym event on Saturday at the Edgedome.

Both games this week will be broadcast on the internet. The home game against Aurora will be called by Kyle Jacob with Tyler Dahmen providing analysis. The links can be found on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com. All Eagle home games this season will be videocast live on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.

After Edgewood College dropped both contests to Lakeland College last year, the Eagles topped the Muskies early this season, 63-61 at home. The Eagles lead the all-time series 29-17, and have won three of the last five meetings at Lakeland.

Edgewood College won their first ever meeting with Aurora University before dropping four consecutive games. The Eagles ended that four-game skid with a 72-69 home victory last season. The Spartans lead the all-time series 4-2.
