An early season North Division showdown and a re-match of last year's Northern Athletics Conference Tournament championship game will pose a challenge for the Edgewood College men's basketball team to keep their perfect record intact. Lakeland College and Benedictine University provide the opposition.

Edgewood College leads the all-time series with Lakeland College 31-18, including winning two of three games played last season. All three games were won by the home team, with the Eagles taking an 84-72 victory in the NAC Tournament. Edgewood College has won six of 11 all-time meetings over Benedictine University, but BU scored two wins last year including a 70-59 win to clinch the NAC Tournament championship. Benedictine hasn't played in Madison since December 13, 2008.
