Edgewood College aims to keep their historic start to the season intact as they open Northern Athletics Conference play this week. The Eagles have opened 5-0 for the just the second time in school history, but face tests from Marian University and Concordia University Chicago this week.

Edgewood College and Marian University have played 65 times in school history, with the Eagles holding a 41-24 lead. The Eagles have won four of the last six meetings, including a pair of double digit victories last season. The Eagles lead the all-time series with Concordia Chicago 10-2, but needed to go double overtime last season to snap a two-game losing streak to the Cougars. The Eagles prevailed at the Edgedome in that game, 80-68.
