Marian University snapped a six-match losing streak to Edgewood College with a 1-0 home win last season. Prior to that loss, the Eagles hadn't allowed a Sabre goal in three years. The all-time series is tied at 14-14-2, with Edgewood College winning seven of the last nine meetings.

Edgewood College has never lost to Concordia University Chicago, leading the all-time series 7-0. The last four wins have been shutouts and the Cougars have only scored four goals against the Eagles.
