Streaking Eagles take to the road this week

Jeff Barczak

On Thanksgiving weekend the Edgewood College men's basketball team was 2-3 and searching for consistent offense. Since then the Eagles have won eight of 10 games and proven to be one of the top shooting teams in the nation. The Eagles hit the road twice this week including a date with the only team undefeated in NAC play, Concordia University Wisconsin.

Concordia Wisconsin will be broadcasting Thursday's game on the web. The link can found on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com. All Eagle home games this season will be videocast live on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.

Maranatha Baptist is Edgewood College's most played rival having met 56 times in history. The Eagles lead the all-time series 40-16, but the Crusaders snapped an 11-game losing streak to the Eagles with a 56-53 win in their first game last season.

Concordia Wisconsin and the Eagles have played almost as many times with the Eagles holding a 34-20 advantage. The Falcons have won the last three straight meetings, including a 67-65 win last year at Mequon that clinched the NAC North Division title.
