Eagles excited about opportunity to play at home

Matt Pampuch
Home sweet home. Edgewood College is returning home after playing their last two games, and four of their first six, on the road. The Eagles are hoping the comforts of Breese Stevens Field will equate into a couple wins this week when they host Elmhurst College and Concordia University Chicago.

Edgewood College will provide live statistics and weather permitting live video for both contests this week. The links can be found on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.

Edgewood College won their first ever meeting with Elmhurst College, but have dropped the last three meetings. The Eagles trail the all-time series 1-3. The Blue Jays have won the last three meetings by one goal, including a 2-1 victory last year. The Eagles have dominated the all-time series with Concordia Chicago, leading the series 6-0. The last three years, Edgewood College has not allowed the Cougars to score a goal. In games played in Madison, the Eagles have outscored the Cougars by nearly five goals a game.
