After playing three games in five days, the Eagles got the week off before opening their conference season this Saturday at Breese Stevens Field. Edgewood College will take on regionally ranked Aurora University. The Spartans were ranked ninth in the latest Central Region poll.

Edgewood College has only played Aurora University five times with the Spartans leading the series 2-1-2. Aurora won the first two meetings by the identical scores of 1-0. The next two contests ended in ties. First in 2007 the teams tied at one in the conference tournament with Aurora advancing on penalty kicks, then in 2008 the teams play to a 0-0 tie in Madison. The Eagles earned their first win over Aurora last season by the score of 2-1 in a game that was played at Aurora.
