MADISON, Wis. - The Edgewood College men's basketball team is coming off an overtime win over NAC South leader MSOE and currently maintain a 2-game lead in the NAC North division. The Eagles are shooting a mind-boggling 67 percent (142-for-212) from the field over their last five games with a 4-1 record during that span. They'll take on Lakeland College and Concordia Chicago this week.
Lakeland (10-9, 4-7 NAC) is 4th in the Northern Athletics Conference and is in the midst of a 4-game losing streak. The Eagles handed the Muskies a loss earlier this season with an 86-66 win at the Todd Wehr Edgedome. The Muskies will try and avoid the sweep on Tuesday when they host Edgewood College at the Woltzen Gymnasium in Sheboygan, Wis. On Saturday, the Eagles will host Concordia Chicago (8-10, 6-5 NAC) who has won three of four games of late. The Cougars have never beaten the Eagles in eight tries all-time and will get their only shot for win No. 1 at 4:15 p.m. on Feb. 7.
