WEST DUNDEE, Ill. – The Edgewood University men's golf team competed at the Judson University Fall Invite on Friday. The Eagles carded a 297, their lowest round of the fall season. Edgewood University finished the one-round invite in fourth place of 23 total teams. Drew Gunderson led the Eagles with a career-best to finish in a tie for third place.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Drew Gunderson led the Eagles, carding a career-best even 71. Gunderson carded six birdies and seven pars to finish in a tie for third place in the invite.
- Josh Potter recorded a 73 (+2), finishing in a tie for 11th place. Potter recorded three birdies and 11 pars in the round.
- Noah Frederickson finished the day in a tie for 26th place, carding a 76 (+5). Frederickson's round featured 11 pars and two birdies.
- Brooks Luttinen carded a 77 (+6) to finish in a tie for 34th place. Luttinen recorded three birdies on the first nine and totaled six pars on the day.
- Isaac Vogel rounded out the Eagles lineup with an 87 (+16).
THE MEET
- Wheaton claimed the team title, shooting a one-over par 285. Aurora's JV team finished runner up with a 292.
- Wyatt Brown of Wheaton claimed medalist honors, carding a four-under par 67.

- Edgewood University will compete at the WLC Fall Invite on Sunday. Action is set for 8:30 a.m. from Washington County G.C.
