MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood University women's tennis team has been recognized on the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Hattie Plenty and Evelyn Taylor landed honors for their performance on the court, and outstanding in the classroom.
On the court, Plenty (Janesville, Wis.) claimed All-NACC singles and doubles honors during the 2025-26 academic year. Plenty carried a 14-11 singles record and 20-7 doubles mark during the season. In conference play, Plenty went 6-2 in singles play and 7-1 in doubles. In the classroom, Plenty is an accounting major holding a cumulative GPA of 3.67.
Taylor (Aurora, Ill.) claimed All-NACC singles and doubles honors as well as being named a NACC FAR Award recipient during the 2025-26 year. Taylor became the winningest player in Edgewood University women's tennis history in the spring season. The senior carried an overall 17-8 record in singles play and a 20-7 mark in doubles action. In the classroom, Taylor is a biology and environmental science major, carrying a cumulative GPA of 3.70.
