WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's golf team competed at the Morningstar Masters on Sunday and Monday. The Eagles finished 10th of 12 teams at the event, carding a season-best 36-hole score of 619.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Raymond Jordan paced the Eagles with a career-best 36-hole score of 147, finishing in a tie for 15th place. Jordan opened the tournament with an even 72, before carding a 75 (+3) on Monday. Jordan carded four birdies in round one.
- Brooks Luttinen opened the tournament with an 80 on Sunday. He followed that up with his career-low 73 on Monday. Luttinen totaled a career-best 153 to finish in a tie for 34th place. Luttinen's highlight of Sunday was an Eagle on the hole one par-5.
- Noah Frederickson competed as an individual in the event. He posted a 162, carding rounds of 79 and 83.
- Isaac Hill and Josh Potter rounded out the Eagles scoring lineup with scores of 163 and 164, respectively.
THE MEET
- NACC foe Aurora came home with the team title at 570 shots across two rounds. The Spartans tied with Dubuque, but took home the team title after tiebreakers.
- George Proudman of Aurora's "B" team took home medalist honors. He posted a six-under par 138. Proudman put together rounds of 70 and 68.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood University will compete at the Forester Spring Invite on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. Action will open on Friday at 11:00 a.m. from Mundelein, Ill.
