LAKE GENEVA, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's golf team competed at The Grand Intercollegiate on Sunday and Monday. The tournament, hosted by UW-Stout was held at the Grand Geneva Resort G.C. Charlie Huerth led the Eagles to finish in a tie for 17th with a team score of 629.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Huerth carded his career-best round in Sunday's round, a 72 (+1). The sophomore's Sunday round featured four birdies and 10 pars. Huerth carded a six-over par 77 to finish in a tie for 30th place.
- Raymond Jordan was next in the Eagles lineup, carding a 155 to finish in a tie for 66th place. Jordan's best round of 75 came on Sunday.
- Josh Potter posted a 164 for Edgewood University. Potter opened the meet with an 81 and finished Monday's round with an 83. Potter's first round featured three birdies.
- Noah Frederickson and Drew Gunderson rounded out the Eagles lineup. Frederickson carded a 164, while Gunderson was just behind with a 165.
THE MEET
- Dubuque took home the win with a team score of 572 (+4).
- John Dobbe of Dubuque won medalist honors with an eight-under par 134. Dobbe's best round came on Monday, a five-under par 66.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood University will compete at the MSOE Invite on Sunday, October 5 and Monday, October 7. Action will take place at Brown Deer G.C. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
