KANSASVILLE, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's golf team competed at the Midwest Region Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday. Due to weather, this year's event was shortened to just 18 holes after a storm blew through during round two. The Eagles "A" team posted a score of 322 put them in a tie for 36th place out of 45 teams at Brighton Dale Links. The Eagles "B" squad finished the one-round tournament with a score of 333 to finish 39th.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles "A" team featured Raymond Jordan, Charlie Huerth, Josh Potter, Isaac Hill, and Noah Frederickson on Friday. Jordan led the Eagles with a three-over par 75. Jordan's round featured 12 pars, eight of which came on the back nine holes.
- Huerth wasn't far behind Jordan, carding a 77 (+5). Huerth posted nine pars and two birdies on Friday.
- Josh Potter posted an 84 that was a result of 10 pars.
- Isaac Hill carded an 86, while Noah Frederickson posted a 94.
- The Eagles "B" team featured Drew Gunderson, Peter Haideman, Jacob Frederickson, Brooks Luttinen and Joe Huskey.
- Gunderson led the team with a 78 that featured two pars on the back nine holes.
- Haideman and Jacob Frederickson were next in line for the Eagles, carding an 83 and 85, respectively.
- Luttinen carded an 87 that featured an impressive birdie putt on hole 16.
- Huskey rounded out the Eagles lineup with a 94. Huskey posted two birdies on the front nine holes.
THE MEET
- Nebraska Wesleyan took home the team crown, carding a one-round total of 282 (-6). They battled against Augustana to lead by 10 strokes after Friday's round.
- Harrison Weddell of Nebraska Wesleyan and Riley Tanzi of Wisconsin Lutheran tied for the win. Both Weddell and Tanzi recorded a three-under par 69 in Friday's round.

- The Eagles will compete at the Grand Intercollegiate hosted by UW-Stout on Sunday, September 28 and Monday, September 29. Action will take place at Grand Gevena Resort.
