HARTFORD, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's golf team competed at the WLC Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The Eagles carded a 642 to finish in 15th place overall. The Eagles best day came on Saturday, when they carded a 314 as a team.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Charlie Huerth and Raymond Jordan paced the Eagles scoring lineup, both carding a two-round score of 159 to finish in a tie for 46th place. Huerth put together rounds of 78 and 81 in the meet. Jordan's best day was on Saturday, a 74.
- Isaac Hill joined Huerth and Jordan with a 159 total. As an individual, Hill carded a 75 on Saturday, followed by an 84 on Sunday. Hill's 159 total and 75 round one was his best showing as an Eagle.
- Peter Haideman posted a 160 to finish in a tie for 51st place. Haideman's best round came on Sunday, a 79.
- Drew Gunderson and Brooks Luttinen rounded out the Eagles lineup with scores of 164 and 177, respectively.
THE MEET
- MSOE came away with the team title, recording a 593. Carthage College finished runner-up carding a 594.
- James Trachsel earned medalist honors for Carthage. Trachsel carded a one-under par 143 to edge out Tristan Biesterfeld of MSOE by one stroke.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood University will turn their attention to the Midwest Region Fall Classic on Friday, September 19 and 20. The two-day meet will take place from Kansasville, Wisconsin.
