MADISON, Wis. – Edgewood College's search for a new head women's bowling coach has turned up a fantastic candidate. Director of Athletics Suann Saltzberry has named Kylie Wright to take the helm of the Eagles first women's bowling program.

With her extensive experience in women's bowling, Kylie is poised to bring valuable insight and leadership to our new program. We are confident in her ability to guide and inspire our athletes as she builds a successful future for our bowling team. Her passion for the sport makes her the perfect fit to lead this exciting new chapter for Eagle Women's Bowling."
Wright separated herself as a top candidate to lead this program. She has a real passion for bowling. Wright is a USBC Bronze Level Certified Coach and served as an assistant coach at UW-Whitewater during the 2022-23 season.
"I am very excited to take on the role of head coach and build new program." Wright said. "The opportunity to build up women's bowling in Madison is an opportunity I am excited for."
Wright was a member of the UW-Whitewater women's bowling team from 2018 to 2022. During her time, she served as captain in the 2021-22 season and was a member of the Warhawks team that finished with a No. 3 national ranking in the National Tenpin Coaches Association Division II/III Poll and 18th among all schools in collegiate bowling. Wright earned WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll (2021 & 2022), NTCA All-Academic (2021 & 2022), UW-Whitewater Chancellor Scholar Athlete award in 2022. During her first two seasons with the Warhawks, Wright was a part of the 2019-20 team that won the Central Intercollegiate Bowling Conference championship.
Wright graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in elementary education with a minor in adaptive education.
