AURORA, Ill. – The Edgewood College men's golf team finished a seventh-place finish at the NACC Championships on Monday. Edgewood College shot a 336 in round three on Sunday and finished up with a 342 on Monday. Peter Haideman and Raymond Jordan led the Eagles, both tying for 23rd place.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Peter Haideman carded an 84 on Sunday and an 85 on Monday, finishing in a tie for 23rd place. In the final two rounds, Haideman carded a 169 to combine with his fall total for a 72-hole score of 333 (+45).
- Raymond Jordan tied with Haideman for a 23rd place finish. The junior posted an 85 in round four. Jordan took home a 333 tournament total.
- Charlie Huerth posted an 83 in the third round. Huerth followed that up with an 89 on Monday for a 334 (+46) tournament total. The freshman finished in 25th place.
- Sam Hjortland carded a championship total of 339. He carded a 177 in rounds three and four. Hjortland finished in a tie for 31st place.
- Jacob Frederickson finished in 45th place for the Eagles. Frederickson carded 190 over the final two rounds for a 72-hole score of 366 (+78).
- Brooks Luttinen competed for the Eagles in rounds three and four only. Luttinen carded an 81 on Sunday and followed that up with an 87 on Monday.
THE MEET
- Aurora earned their eighth-straight NACC Championship title. The Spartans shot a 292 in round three and followed that up with a 302 on Monday. Aurora finished 29 strokes ahead of runner-up St. Norbert College.
- Jackson Hulsey was named medalist, carding a 298 (+10) to win the championship.

- The Eagles will host the Edgewood College Spring Quadrangular on Friday, May 2. The meet will be held at Bishops Bay Country Club.
