WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's golf team competed at the Morningstar Masters, hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College, on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles carded a 323 to finish in a tie for 14th place in the meet.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Raymond Jordan led the way for Edgewood College, carding a 76, good for a tie for 20th place. Jordan recorded three birdies and eight pars.
- Brooks Luttinen recorded a 79, finishing in a tie for 41st place. Luttinen, competing in his first action of the spring for the Eagles, recorded a birdie on hole four and compiled 11 pars.
- Sam Hjortland finished in a tie for 55th place on the day. Hjortland carded an 81 that included one par.
-Jack Vesperman and Charlie Huerth rounded out the Eagles lineup on Saturday. Vesperman carding an 87, while Huerth recorded an 88.
THE MEET
- Lake Forest College came away with the team title, recording a five-over par 293. Host, Wisconsin Lutheran College finished second with a team total of 298.
- Nathan Thomson of St. Norbert College won medalist honors. Thomson carded a four-under par 68. The Green Knight golfer was the only participant of the day to record a finish under par.

- Edgewood College will return to action at the Forester Spring Invite on Friday, April 18. Action is set for 11:00 a.m. from Mundelein, Ill.
