RIPON, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's track & field team competed at the Dick Hendricks' Invite hosted by Ripon College. Kylee Doherty continued a strong indoor season, breaking her own record in the shot put on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Doherty continued to thrive in the shot put on Saturday. The junior broke her own school record in the event with a distance of 12.77 meters to finish third in the event. Kayla Miotk finished sixth in the event with a distance of 11.50 meters. Keilley Riddle posted a distance of 8.41 meters to finish 21st, while Allison Foley's best mark of 7.52 meters was good for 23rd.
- Doherty added a 10th place mark in the weight throw. The junior's distance of 11.63 meters was good for fourth longest in program history. Riddle posted a personal-best mark of 10.72 meters, while Miotk recorded a 9.04 meter throw.
- Ella Arenz impressed in the Mile run with a personal-best time of 5:48.90 to finish seventh.
- Kayla Kerkman represented the Eagles with a personal-best distance of 4.49 meters in the long jump. Kerkman finished 11th in the event.
- Kerkman and Isabella Pescador competed in the 400-meter for the Eagles on Saturday. Kerkman finished 15th with a time of 1:11.11, while Pescador posted a PR time of 1:16.17.
- Jordan Lawson (8.47), Lauren Mesa (8.61), Stephanie Resendiz (8.83), Emma Miller (9.06), and Pescador (9.46) competed in the 60-meter dash prelims on Saturday.
- Lawson (28.30), Mesa (29.82), Resendiz (29.86), Miller (31.05), Kerkman (31.57), and Pescador (32.61) competed in the 200-meter at Ripon.
- Lauren Mesa, Emily Austin, Maya Thompson, and Emma Miller competed in the 4x400-meter relay for the Eagles. A time of 4:56.74 was good for sixth for the Eagles.

- Edgewood College will travel to Dubuque, Iowa to participate in the Sol Butler Classic at the University of Dubuqe on Friday, February 21.
