Preview: NACC Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinal

MILWAUKEE – The third-seeded Edgewood University women's soccer team will travel to second-seeded MSOE in the semifinal round of the 2025 NACC women's soccer tournament on Wednesday evening. EdgewoodEagles.com gets you prepared for Wednesday's league tournament match up.

2025 NACC WOMEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT PAGE

HOW THEY GOT HERE
- Edgewood University defeated Marian University 1-0 on Sunday, November 2 in the NACC Tournament Quarterfinal. The victory was the Eagles first NACC Tournament win under head coach Derek Helmer and since the 2014 season.

- Kamy Luecke scored the Eagles goal on Sunday, assisted by Reaghan Spencer.

- MSOE claimed a NACC Tournament Quarterfinal win over Aurora University on Sunday. The Raiders defeating the Spartans 3-0 from Viets Field.

- The Raiders closed out the regular season with a 10-1-1 conference record and a three-match win streak.

- MSOE only allowed four goals in conference play during the 2025 season.

- Elizabeth Kuhn is the Raiders leading scorer, owning 11 goals and nine assists on the season. Rosario Etcheverria Abuin isn't far behind, with eight goals and two assists.

- Paige Sanchez owns 20 starts in net and 92 saves on the season for the Raiders.

LAST MEETING
- Edgewood University and MSOE met back on Wednesday, September 23 in Milwaukee. The Raiders took home a 3-1 victory over the Eagles.

- Faith Papazoglou and Elizabeth Kuhn scored for the Raiders in the regular season contest.

- Edgewood University scored via own goal in the 33rd minute, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Raiders attack.

- The Raiders outshot the Eagles 17-6 in the regular season.

- Emma Swenson was clutch for the Eagles in the second half of action. The Eagle goalkeeper making seven saves in just 45 minutes in net.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- The Eagles have now reached the NACC Tournament four times under Head Coach Derek Helmer. Edgewood University last reached a NACC Tournament Semifinal during the 2020 season. In 2020, the Eagles fell to Concordia Wisconsin in the NACC North Tournament Semifinal.
- MSOE is 17-15-1 all-time in the NACC Tournament. The Raiders own four tournament tiles, most recently defeating top-seeded Illinois Tech 1-0 in overtime in 2024. The Raiders and Scarlet Hawks met again in the 2025 tournament final, with Illinois Tech winning 6-1.
