MILWAUKEE – The Edgewood University women's soccer team made its first NACC Tournament Semifinal appearance since the 2020 season on Wednesday evening. The third-seeded Eagles fell to second-seeded MSOE 3-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (14-5-2) scored twice before halftime and added a goal after the break. Faith Papazoglou and Claire Bradford scored in the first half. Rosario Etcheverria Abuin netted the third Raider goal in the 56th minute.
- The Eagles were outshot 22-8 on Wednesday evening. Rylee Brotz and Kamy Luecke each recorded two shots for Edgewood University (15-5-1).
- Emma Swenson managed eight saves in net for the Eagles. Her counterpart Page Sanchez collected five saves for the Raiders.
- MSOE snapped a nine-game win streak for Edgewood University.
