MADISON, WIS. – Women's Volleyball returned home to the Todd Wehr Edgedome Thursday. They continued NACC action against the MSOE Raiders. The Eagles (13-6, 5-0 NACC) found smooth sailing in a 3-0 (25-6, 25-17, 25-16) victory against the Raiders (4-14, 2-2)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University dominated the first set, holding MSOE to a -.031 hitting percentage. They recorded 16 kills and only one error in route to a 25-6 set one victory.
- MSOE hung around early in the second frame, but the Eagles raced off with a 9-2 rally for a 18-10 lead in the middle of the set and never looked back on route to a 2-0 match lead.
- Errors plagued the Raiders as Edgewood University started off ahead 6-1 in set three. While MSOE would battle back within striking distance, offense and defense worked in sync to pull further ahead on a 7-1 burst and a 19-11 advantage late. The Eagles finished off a dominant showing on a 5-2 run featuring three kills from
Anna Hennessey.
- Five Edgewood University hitters had four or more kills, and 10 in total had at least a kill.
Katie Borchert led the way with nine kills.
- The Eagles outhit the Raiders .250 to -.029 on the night.

Kate Gunderson tallied 13 assists and a pair of aces, while
Abbey Eivins earned 12 assists.

Mia Hinkamper earned 16 digs.
Jennacy Wille tallied nine digs and two aces.

Payton Millin anchored a blocking game that recorded 11 team blocks with seven of her own. She also hit seven kills and had a .545 hitting percentage on 11 attempts.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Edgewood University has now won six-straight against MSOE and four in a row in total.

The Eagles will hit the road one last time before a five-match homestand. They'll travel to River Forest, Ill. Saturday for more NACC action. First serve against the Dominican Stars is scheduled for noon.
