MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's golf team competed in their final tune-up of the fall season before the NACC Championships next weekend. The Eagles competed Sunday and Monday at the MSOE Fall Invite, held at Brown Deer Park G.C. Edgewood University finished in eighth place with a two-day total of 637.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Peter Haideman led the way for Edgewood University, finishing in a tie for 18th place. The senior was consistent for the Eagles across both rounds, carding a 78 on Sunday followed by a 77 on Monday. Haideman's two-round total of 155 featured two birdies in round two.
- Raymond Jordan opened the meet with his best round, a 75. He closed on Monday with an 81, for a two-day total of 156 and a 21st place finish.
- Brooks Luttinen saw improvement in round two, carding a 77 that featured five birdies. Luttinen's two-round total was a 159.
- Noah Frederickson rounded out the Eagles lineup with a two-round score of 167.
THE MEET
- Host MSOE took home the team title with a score of 596. The Raiders finished five shots ahead of UW-Stevens Point.
- Connor Schaefer of UW-Stevens Point won medalist honors. Schaefer carded a three-over par 145.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood University will compete in the NACC Championships from Saturday, October 11 to Monday, October 13. The meet will take place at the Meadow Valleys Course at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wis.
