Eagles finish fourth at NACC Championships

KOHLER, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's golf team finished in fourth place at the NACC Championships. The Eagles combined rounds of 315, 318, and 299 for a +68 finish in the three-round championship. Raymond Jordan collected All-NACC honors, finishing in a tie for eighth place.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University saved their best for last, carding a 299 (+11) in the third and final round on Monday. Despite a fantastic finish to the championship, the Eagles couldn't catch MSOE to regain third place. The Eagles finished the championship with a 932 (+68), a 54-hole school record mark.

- Raymond Jordan claimed all-conference honors, finishing in a tie for eighth place. Jordan's 234 (+10) total set the new high watermark for the Eagles individual low 54-hole score. Jordan opened the meet with an even 72 on Saturday. He carded seven birdies and two eagles across the three-round tournament. Jordan finished Monday's round with a 75 (+3).

- Charlie Huerth finished in 13th place for the Eagles, carding a 234 (+18). Huerth's best round of the championship came on Monday, a 75 (+3) that featured three birdies and 11 pars. Huerth posted a 78 on Saturday, followed by an 81 on Sunday.

- Peter Haideman finished in a tie for 26th place, carding a 242 (+26). Haideman highlighted the Eagles on Monday, carding a 74 (+2) that featured three birdies and 10 pars.

- Brooks Luttinen and Josh Potter both tied for 28th place with a 243 (+27). Luttinen posted rounds of 86 and 82 over the weekend, before carding his career-best 75 (+3) on Monday.  Potter closed out the tournament with an 80, his best on Monday. Potter was consistent for the Eagles, carding rounds of 82 and 81 in the first two rounds.

- Drew Gunderson rounded out the Eagles lineup with a 245 (+29) total. Gunderson's best came on Sunday, a 77 (+5) that featured two birdies.

THE MEET
- Aurora claimed their ninth-straight NACC Championship title. The Spartans shot an 877 (+13). Aurora finished 31 strokes ahead of runner-up St. Norbert College.

- Jackson Hulsey repeated as medalist, carding a 217 (+1) to win the championship.
