Eagles Track & Field Preview

The Edgewood College track & field squads hit the road for their 2025 season after a 2024 that saw two players achieve All-American status at the NCAA Championships. They'll look to build off of that accomplishment with a mix of faces new and old.
 

“I am excited to see this team continue to grow from last year,” said head coach Matthew Heinzman. “At the end of the season, we saw so much success with multiple PRs and development from everyone on the team, which led to the success of conference.”

2025 Track & Field Schedule

The Eagles are set to participate in 18 meets in their track & field slate. Their indoor schedule features three meets at Ripon and three at Dubuque, before heading to the NACC Indoor Championships at UW-Parkside from February 28 through March 1. They'll take on the NCAA Indoor Championships in Rochester, N.Y. March 13-15.

For the outdoor campaign, they'll kick things off on March 29 at Wisconsin Lutheran. They'll make a return trip to their NACC foe on April 17 while making stops at Augustana, UW-Platteville, and UW-Whitewater. Heading up north, they'll challenge the NACC Outdoor Championships at De Pere, Wis. starting on May 2. They will wrap up the season with the NCAA Outdoor Champioships in Geneva, Ohio May 22-24.

By the Numbers

2 - Last year's squads produced two All-American student-athletes. Kylee Doherty is the lone returner of the pair.

“We are excited to see our returning All-American Kylee Doherty improve on her success in the sport while taking a massive step into a leadership role as well.”

7 - Seven incoming freshman bolster the ranks of the track & field squads this season.

13th - Doherty placed 13th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the discus.

2nd - Kadin Wojcik finished 2nd in the school's first-ever declathon at the NACC Championships.
