MADISON, Wis. – Despite shooting 59% in the first half against No. 2 UW-Oshkosh, the Edgewood College men's basketball team fell 93-79 on Tuesday night. The Eagles went into the second half leading the Titans 43-42, but a 10-0 second half run allowed UW-Oshkosh to pick up their second win of the season. The Eagles received 24 points, six assists, and four blocks from
Jake Negus, while
Ben Seefeld posted a career-high 18 points overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles entered the second half with a one-point advantage behind a scoring run led by
Ben Seefeld and Negus who combined for 10 points.
- An impressive first half performance came from the Eagles, who bested UW-Oshkosh (50%) shooting 59% in the first half and going 6-9 from 3-point range.
- The Eagles bench put up an impressive 28 points, in a game that featured five lead changes and five ties.
- Negus and
Sy Staver combined for 11 assists overall, distributing the ball well for the Eagles.
- Seefeld finished with a career-high 18 points, going 9-11 overall for the Eagles.
Jacob Miller was efficient from 3-point range, putting up a career-high 10 points, and going 2-2 from deep.

- Five players scored in double-digits for the Titans on Tuesday night. Adam Fravert led UW-Oshkosh with 26 points, six rebounds, and three blocks, while Ben Boots put up 23 points and dished out six assists.
