Career Statistics (through 2018-19)

2018-19:
One of two Eagles to start all 26 games...Averaged a team-best 32.5 minutes per game...Scored 5.7 points per game, while pulling down 4.2 rebounds per contest...Led the team with 82 assists...Finished the season ranked 88th nationally in assist to turnover ratio (2.05)...Shot 49.1 percent from the floor and 45.1 percent from 3-point range...Ends career ranked fourth all-time on the Eagles assist leaderboard with 378...Started 87 games over the course of his career, fifth most of Eagles players (since 1991-92)...Scored a season-best 21 points, all of those coming in the second half, on 8-of-9 shooting, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range, in a Senior Day win over Rockford (February 9)...Netted 14 points in a win over Benedictine (December 5)...Dished out a season-best seven assists on two different occasions...Pulled down a career-best nine rebounds in a win over Concordia Chicago (February 14).

2017-18: One of two Eagles to start all 27 games... Averaged a team-high 33.0 minutes to go with 6.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists... Led team with 108 assists and 3.5 assist-to-turnover ratio... Hit game-winning shot with less than two seconds remaining in 52-47 win over MSOE in the first round of the NACC tournament... Scored in double figures six times, including a career-high 24 points on 7 of 13 shooting in first meeting against Concordia Chicago... Posted 12 points with a season-high eight assists against Aurora... Distributetd at least four assists in 16 games... Finished Top-5 in the NACC in minutes per game (33.7), assists (108), and assist to turnover ratio (3.5). 

2016-17: Only Eagle to start all 25 games... Led the team in assists (102) and assists per game (4.1) in 30.4 minutes per game... Finished third on the team in rebounds (3.9) and attempted the second-most free throws (78)... Scored a season-high 19 points with six assists at 2017 NCAA tournament participant, UW-Oshkosh, on November 22... Dished out season-high eight assists against Wisconsin Lutheran on January 17 and Aurora University on January 28... Posted five or more assists in 12 games and scored 10 or more points seven times... Pulled down four or more rebounds and five or more assists each in three of last four games.

2015-16: Earned a spot on the All-NACC Freshman Team... Finished 26th in the NACC in assists (86) and 17th in the league in assist to turnover ratio (1.9)... Tied for fourth on the team in scoring at 6.3 points per game... Wound up third on the team in steals (14) and second in three-point percentage (38.1)... Tied a 27-year old school record with 17 assists against Aurora on Jan. 30... Had at least five assists on nine occasions throughout the season... Ended the season with a career-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting (4-for-5 from beyond the arc) against Aurora on Feb. 20... Finished in double figures six times... NACC Scholar-Athlete.

High School: WBCA Division 4 First Team All-State, Conference Player of the Year, WBCA All-Star selection, and first team all-conference as a team captain and MVP during senior season... Also named Wisconsin State Journal first team all-area, Telegraph Herald first team all-area, Dodgeville Chronicle All-Area Point Guard of the Year and WBCA Second Team Academic All-State during senior season... Led team to 27-1 record (most wins in school history) and a Division 4 state tournament runner-up finish as a senior... Finished high school career with the third-most points in school history (1,224), the most steals (166), and the second-most assists (429)... Averaged 14.4 points per game and 4.5 assists per game during senior year... Led team to a 24-1 record, a conference championship and a regional title as a junior... First team all-conference, first team all-area, Wisconsin Senior Rising All-Star team member and WBCA Third Team Academic All-State as a junior... First team all-conference and first team all-area while helping team to an 18-6 record as a sophomore... Also lettered in baseball for four years and was an Academic All-State, all-district and all-conference performer... Also lettered in football for three years and was an all-region wide receiver, all-conference wide receiver, all-conference kick returner, second team all-conference defensive back and a WFCA All-Star team participant.

Personal: Parents are Tim and Kristin Staver... President of Future Business Leaders of America and member of the National Honor Society... Forensics Team captain and earned Critic's Choice Award at state for four-consecutive years... MPHS Academic Athletic Award... Yearbook editor and Senior Class Officer...
