Box Score OSHKOSH, Wis. – The young Edgewood College women's basketball team received a learning experience at the hands of 11th-ranked UW-Oshkosh on Tuesday night. The Titans flexed their muscles in a 93-31 victory over the Eagles.
Edgewood College (2-1) struggled with the Titans speed and size in the half-court. The Titans held the Eagles to just 25 percent shooting for the game. Allison Gordon led the Eagles with seven points on 2-for-5 shooting. Riley Larson had five points and shared team-high rebound honors with six boards. Jennifer Freeman and Riley Larson also had five points each. Brooke Lonigro and Abby Shane each had two assists for the Eagles.
UW-Oshkosh (3-0) was led by Leah Porath who came off the bench to score 20 points on 8-for-15 shooting. Isabella Samuels scored 10 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for a double-double.
Edgewood College will open their 2017-18 NACC campaign on Saturday with a conference opener at home against Aurora University. Tip off will be at approximately 4:15 following the Eagles men's basketball game.
