The Edgewood College baseball team finds themselves alone in second place in the NACC with just six regualr season conference games remaining. The Eagles will host UW-Platteville in a non-conference single game on Wednesday night, before two key NACC doubleheaders on the weekend. Edgewood College will entertain Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday at Stampfl Field and then travel south to red hot Aurora University for a Sunday doubleheader.
All five Edgewood College games this week will have live video and statistics, provided by the host institution. Links for live coverage for all games this season are available on

UW-Platteville defeated Edgewood College 15-2 back on April 14, so the Eagles will be looking for some measure of revenge on Wednesday night. Edgewood College holds a 39-23 all-time series lead over Wisconsin Lutheran College, although the two teams have gone 6-6 in their last 12 meetings. The Eagles held a three-game winning streak over Aurora, until the Spartans broke it in the back half of their doubleheader last year.
Wednesday night's game vs. UW-Platteville will be Veterans Appreciation Night. All veterans will be admitted to Stampfl Field free of charge, and a special veteran will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
