GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Edgewood University baseball team collected its 11th-straight Team Academic Excellence award from the American Baseball Coaches Association, the organization announced Wednesday. The ABCA Team Academic Excellence award began in 2016, and the Eagles are the only NACC school and one of the two Wisconsin schools (Carroll) to earn this award every year of its existence.

The Eagles soared past the 3.0 mark required for selection, posting a 3.44 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.

Seven NACC schools also earned the honor for their efforts in the classroom during the 2025-26 season: Aurora University, Concordia University Chicago, Dominican University, Illinois Tech, Lakeland University, Rockford University, and St. Norbert College.
