MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College volleyball team won its seventh-straight match Friday night against an Aurora team that entered with a 6-1 NACC record, but it didn't come easy in the early goings. The Eagles fell 25-21 in the first set before powering to 25-13, 25-19, 25-13 wins in the final three sets, as Jordan Winkler's 15 kills and .536 attack percentage (tied for the 5th highest single-match total in school history) was too much for the Spartans to handle.

Winkler's impressive night also included a game-high 21 digs, which stands as the second-most in a match this season for the senior from Menomonee Falls, Wis. Emily Chaussee and Rachel Tesch tied for the second on the team in the category with 15.
The Eagles didn't hit below .216 in a single set on the night while holding the opposition to attack percentages under .100 in two of the four sets.
Haley Schwenn led the Eagles in assists with 27 while Alex Zapuchlak totaled 18. Renee Meister finished just shy of the double-digit mark in kills with nine while leading the team defensively with four solo blocks.
