Edgewood College vs. Wisconsin Lutheran College and Alverno College preview (.pdf)

MADISON, Wis. - Looking to remain in the top-two of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference standings, the Edgewood College Eagles will host Wisconsin Lutheran College Wednesday at 4:30 pm before traveling to Milwaukee, Wis., Saturday for a noon match against Alverno College. The Eagles are currently in second with a 5-1 NACC record behind Aurora (6-1) with four matches remaining. Wisconsin Lutheran enters Wednesday's match with a 1-4 league record while Alverno College currently sits at 0-5 in conference play.

The Eagles have won 11-straight games against the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors and are 27-2-1 all-time. The last 10 meetings have all been shutouts, including last season's 2-0 victory on Oct. 16. The Eagles have found very similar success against the Inferno, as they have not dropped a single meeting against them in 11 tries. Nine of those wins have come in shutout fashion, and the only games the Inferno have managed to find the back of the net have come in 2010 and 2012.
