WAUKESHA, Wis. – After snapping their 10-match losing streak yesterday against Wisconsin Lutheran College, the Edgewood College men's tennis team ventured back outside the league for an Aprils' Fools Day match against Carroll University. The Pioneers controlled play from the start in a 9-0 victory.

In doubles play, Edwin Mendoza and Eric Gavinski played the closest match, falling to Nicholas Schultz and Eric Schneider 8-4 at the No. 3 position. Cody Strebig played tough at No. 1 singles, losing a 6-3, 6-1 decision to the Pioneers' Jack Michael.

Edgewood College (2-16) will be back in Northern Athletics Conference action next Saturday when they travel to Rockford College and Aurora University. The Eagles are 1-1 in conference play after splitting a pair of matches with MSOE and Wisconsin Lutheran College yesterday.
