Career Statistics (through 2012-13)

2012-13: Named to the All-NAC Doubles team with teammate Patrick Lagman... Finished with an overall record of 6-30... Played primarily at No. 2 singles, going 4-26... Went 3-6 in conference play... Won a crucial singles match over Wisconsin Lutheran's Ryan Sallman 2-6, 6-0, 6-4 to help Edgewood College advance to the NAC Tournament Semifinals... Played No. 1 doubles for the second half of the season and went 7-9 with Patrick Lagman... Finished 7-2 and third in the NAC at No. 1 doubles... Overall, finished 11-25 in doubles competition.

2011-12: Posted an overall singles record of 9-16... Went 9-14 at No. 6 singles while going 0-2 at the fifth flight... Won his final five singles matches of the season, and eight of his last 10... Defeated Connor Propp of Aurora University 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-1 to clinch the Eagles' 5-4 win over the Spartans... Went 7-1 in Northern Athletics Conference singles play... Had a record of 12-18 in doubles play, going 11-16 at No. 3 doubles... Was won of two doubles teams to win a match in the NAC Individual Doubles Tournament with partner Edwin Mendoza... Posted a 7-1 record in NAC doubles play... Ended the season by going 11-4 in doubles.

High School: Helped the LaFollette High School tennis team win the Big 8 Conference... Also helped the Lancers win sectionals and qualifiy for the state tournament... Placed third in No. 2 doubles in the Big 8 Confernce in 2004 and fifth in No. 4 singles in 2005... Earned varsity letters in tennis and hockey... Won the freshman leadership award... Was on the LaFollette High School Honor Society.

Personal: Parents are William and Janice Gavinski... Major is Criminal Justice... Owns a black belt in karate... Has been a downhill skier since he was three... Played high school hockey with Craig Smith of the Nashville Predators.
