Eagles look to cement status in NAC playoff push

Emily Dorsett

Edgewood College could leap from sixth place to as high as third place in the Northern Athletics Conference with a pair of victories this week. The Eagles will take a shot at MSOE who resides one spot above them in the standings, before returning home for a Saturday match against Alverno College.

There will be no live coverage of Wednesday's match against MSOE in Milwaukee. Saturday's home match will have live stats and a recorded broadcast to be uploaded the next day. All links are available on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.

Edgewood College had dominated MSOE until 2009, winning the first 21 matches in the all-time series. Since then however, the two teams have split their last three matches 1-1-1, with the Eagles claiming the most recent meeting, a 1-0 win in Madison last year. The Eagles hold an 8-0 all-time advantage over Alverno College in the all-time series. Until last season's 7-1 Edgewood College victory, the Inferno had never scored a goal against the Eagles. Edgewood College has outscored Alverno 71-1 since 2003.
