Eagles ready to face Sabres and Cougars

The Eagles will play their third game in five days when they host Marian University on Tuesday night. The match will mark the end of one of the Eagles two three-game home stands this season. Edgewood College is 1-1 in the first two games of the home stand. On Saturday, the Eagles will travel to River Forest, Ill. to face the Cougars of Concordia University Chicago.

Edgewood College has not lost to Marian University since 1993. In that time, Eagles have an unbeaten streak of 25 games and winning streak of 23 games. During the streak, the Eagles have outscored the Sabres by an average of 3.4 goals a game. Overall the series is 23-2-2 in favor of Edgewood College.

Concordia Chicago has never beaten Edgewood College in five meetings all-time. The Cougars have only scored four goals on the Eagles, with three of those goals coming in a 4-3 loss in 2005.
