Coming off of their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2001, the Edgewood College women's soccer team is looking to make a return trip in 2009. The Eagles start season on Tuesday, September 1 when they host the Augustana College Vikings. They will then travel to Ripon College on Saturday to face the Red Hawks.

Edgewood College will be looking to beat Augustana for the first time in the series. The Eagles last played the Vikings in 2003 in Rock Island where the Eagles fell 4-0.

The Eagles have owned the series against the Red Hawks over the past ten years by winning all seven matches. The overall series is 7-2 in favor of Edgewood College. Last year when they faced-off at Breese Stevens Field, the Eagles came away with a 7-1 victory to give the Eagles a 3-0 start.
