Box Score

AUBURNDALE, Fla. - Senior second baseman Alex Berta drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Eagles a 7-6 come-from-behind victory over Keystone College (Pa.). The Eagles entered the ninth down 6-1, but pushed six runs across the plate for an improbable victory.

Freshman Glenn Nowell earned the win by pitching the final three innings in relief of starter Scott Winters and Kyle Lode. Winters struck out five and walked three, while Lode struck out three and walked just one.

Cory McCullick went 2-for-4 for the Eagles and Jimy Landwehr drove in a pair of runs.

The Eagles return to the field tomorrow for a doubleheader against Hope College (Mich.) at Winter Haven, Fla. First pitch is at 11:45 central time.
