MADISON, Wis. - Eagle women's soccer has finally broken through several years of frustrating semifinal rounds of conference tournament action. In fact, three straight seasons and four of five have denied the Eagles a spot in the conference tournament championship game.
Edgewood College finally punched its ticket to the next round after 110 minutes of scoreless soccer with Dominican University. Thanks to four penalty kick conversions by the Eagles and a huge save from Edgewood College goalkeeper,
Ilana Bar-av, the Eagles won the shootout 4-2 and have a date with destiny in the NAC tournament championship game against Aurora University on Saturday.
