2016: Appeared in 12 matches and played 13 sets... Recorded four kills, one dig, and two blocks... Had three kills in win over Rockford on Oct. 21.
High School: Played at Cambria-Friesland and earned All-Conference in her senior season... Won silver at the Conference tournament as team won more games during season than in last six years... Named Team Captain and led team in kills, had second-most digs, totaled game-high 21 kills, and serve percentage was 90%... Earned Honorable Mention and led team in kills as junior... Competed four years in track and was four-time high jump conference champio... Team Captain senior year, compted in Sectional meet three times and won Dodge County Invitational three times... Played one year of basketball.
Personal: Daughter of Dan and Maxine DeYoung... President of National Honor Society, High Honor student all four years, and ranked fifth in class... Involved in choir, band, forensics, Spanish Club, youth group, and student council... Volunteered with Kiwanis, Red Cross, elementary schools, UNICEF, State Fair, and youth volleyball camp... Graduating class had 26 students, played piano for 11 yars and won State Solo Ensemble three times, went on a 10-day trip to Peru with Spanish class and saw Machu Picchu... Majoring in Nursing.
