2008:  Played in all 30 matches for the Eagles at middle blocker... Was second on the team in blocking, with 22 solo blocks and 58 assisted blocks for a total of 80... Recorded the team's highest single match block total with nine against Finlandia University on September 27... Had a season-high eight kills twice; first against Maranatha Baptist on September 18 and then again versus Alverno College on October 24... NAC Scholar-Athlete.

High School:  Four year varsity starter in volleyball for West High School... Was named all-Woodland Conference twice... Led conference in blocks her junior and senior years... Named West's senior athlete of the year for 2007-08... Also a three-time all-conference performer in basketball and played in the WBCA all-star game... Named to the honor roll every semester of high school.

Personal:  Parents are Chuck and Sharon Averkamp... Also plays basketball for the Eagles... Her brother, Charlie, was a four year letterwinner for Edgewood College's men's basketball team from 2004-08... Major is business or graphic design... Born June 27, 1990.
