FOND DU LAC, Wis. – NACC action continued for Women's Tennis Sunday. They hit the road to take on the Marain Sabres. The Eagles (3-2, 3-0 NACC) dispatched the Sabres (0-5, 0-1) with a decisive 7-0 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University rolled through doubles.

Kaitlyn Narkis in no. 1 doubles won by identical 6-0 margins.

Isabella Kowalak earned a 6-1 final in the second slot.
- Schmidtmann kept momentum going to start singles, winning 6-0, 6-0 in the fourth slot.
Sarah Emory followed up with a 6-0, 6-1 result in sixth billing.
- Perret and Kowalak had strong showings to keep the Eagles unbeaten. Perret won 6-2, 6-1 in no. 3 singles and Kowalak 6-2, 6-0 in no. 2 singles.
- Plenty claimed a 6-3, 6-1 victory in top billing. Connaughty put a bow on the clean slate with a 6-4, 6-3 result in the fifth slot.

A NACC double feature awaits Edgewood University on Saturday, September 19. They'll travel down to Illinois to take on Concordia Chicago and Illinois Tech. First serve against the Cougars in River Forest, Ill. is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and the Scarlet Hawks in Chicago, Ill. is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
