MADISON, Wis. – Edgewood University's search for a new head women's soccer coach has turned up a candidate close to home. Edgewood University has announced the hiring of Jon Gulrajani as the next Head Women's Soccer Coach, ushering in a new chapter for one of the department's most successful athletic traditions.
"I'm excited to welcome Jon Gulrajani to Edgewood University as the new head coach of our women's soccer program," said Director of Athletics Nick Pasquarello. "Coach Gulrajani brings a wealth of experience from across different levels of collegiate soccer, along with a strong commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. I'm confident he will continue to build on the proud tradition of Eagles women's soccer, and I look forward to the leadership, energy, and vision he will bring to the program."

"This program has had only two head coaches in its history, and that speaks to the strong tradition and foundation that has been built. It is incredibly important to me to honor that legacy while continuing to move the program forward."
Gulrajani expressed his appreciation to Edgewood University Director of Athletics Nick Pasquarello for the opportunity. He has a tremendous vision for Edgewood University Athletics, has built an outstanding culture, and is passionate about taking Eagles Athletics to new heights. I'm excited to get to work with our current student-athletes, build meaningful relationships, and continue creating a program that the entire Edgewood University community can be proud of."
Gulrajani also reflected on the mentors and student-athletes who shaped his nine-year tenure at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. "I would also like to thank Paula Wilkins, Tim Rosenfeld, and everyone I had the privilege of working alongside during my nine years at Wisconsin. It has been an incredible opportunity, and I have learned so much from each of them. Most importantly, I want to thank every student-athlete I had the honor of coaching. Watching them develop as players, students, and people has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. They have all left a lasting impact on me."
Gulrajani brings 25 years of coaching experience to Edgewood University, including 16 years at the collegiate level and nine years coaching in the high school ranks.
Over the past nine seasons at Wisconsin, beginning in 2018, Gulrajani helped guide the Badgers to six NCAA Tournament appearances, including four NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances. During his tenure, Wisconsin established itself as one of the nation's consistently competitive programs.
Prior to Wisconsin, Gulrajani spent three seasons at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he helped lead the Panthers to a Horizon League Regular Season Championship, a Horizon League Tournament Championship, and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
Before Milwaukee, Gulrajani spent three seasons at Mount Mary University, helping the program tie the school record for wins in a season while contributing to the two most successful seasons in program history in 2016 and 2017.
Gulrajani also served one season at University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, where the Titans captured the WIAC Tournament Championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament—the deepest postseason run in school history.
A respected coach, recruiter, and mentor, Gulrajani has built a reputation for developing student-athletes both on and off the field. His leadership, commitment to excellence, and passion for fostering strong team cultures align with the vision for the future of Edgewood University Women's Soccer.
Gulrajani resides in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, with his wife, Linda, and their two sons, Isaiah and Will.
