GLENDALE, Wis. – Baseball wrapped up their regular season NACC slate Friday. They took on the defending conference champion MSOE in a doubleheader. The Raiders (28-12, 18-6 NACC) took Game One over the Eagles (19-18, 13-11) with a 9-3 final, but the Eagles won a 2-1 nailbiter in the nightcap.
GAME ONE: MSOE 9, EDGEWOOD UNIVERSITY 3
- A parade of singles had the Raiders rolling early, three RBI singles pushing them ahead 3-0 in the first. A triple to left center added on a pair for a 5-0 edge after one.
- While a wild pitch plated a run for the Eagles in the third, MSOE steadily built their lead. Runs in the fourth and fifth put them ahead 7-1, while an RBI double in the sixth and a RBI single in the seventh left them up 9-1.

Charlie Tompach triple to right field in the eighth would send home a pair of runs for Edgewood Unviersity to wrap up the scoring.

Dominic Lee swung 2-for-4 with a double and a walk.
- Tompach recorded a triple and two RBIs.
- Eric Williamson pitched 7.1 innings in a strong start for the Raiders. He struck out nine in the win.
-Aj Le posted two RBIs and a double. Jake Franks had two RBIs of his own as well as a triple.
GAME TWO: EDGEWOOD UNIVERSITY 2, MSOE 1
- A
Gavin Wesling fielder's choice in the second plated one run and a Raider miscue added another for a 2-0 lead.
- The squads settled in for a pitcher's duel, neither side budging as the innings dragged on.
Cashton Jones pitched well in the start, striking out four in 4.1 innings pitched.
- A single to left field in the eighth put MSOE on the board. They threatened more with runners on 2nd and 3rd, but the Eagles shut down the threat.

Jake Lueptow stepped up in an extended relief outing and kept the Raiders bats quiet for the win. He pitched 4.2 innings and struck out seven.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- With his start in game two,
Kyle Prindle became the program's leader in games started and games played with 162 and 163 respectively.
- The seven strikeouts in game two were a personal best for Lueptow.
- With the results of today's NACC games, the Eagles earned the seventh seed in the conference postseason. They will face off with the Rockford Regents in a NACC Tournament elimination game on Wednesday in Aurora, Ill. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
