MADISON, Wis. – Men's Basketball continued home conference action at the Todd Wehr Edgedome Saturday. They faced off with the Aurora Spartans in a NACC battle. The Spartans (11-3, 6-1 NACC) controlled the afternoon, winning 98-58 over the Eagles (1-12, 1-6).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University kept on Aurora's heels through the first five minutes, trailing 15-8 at 15:01. The Spartans pulled away late, finishing the last 4:01 of the half on an 8-0 run for a 43-29 lead.
- Aurora rolled in the second half, leading 55-32 after a 12-3 run to kick things off. Edgewood University had no answers for the Spartans onslaught as they conceded the affair.
- Six Aurora scorers finished in double-digits. Cullen Rauls led the way with 17 points.
- Mekhi Dobi and Devon Richardson had 16-point, 11-rebound and 13-point, 14-rebound double-doubles respectively.
- The Spartans outrebounded the Eagles 58-to-34. Aurora shot 54.3 (38-of-70) percent from the field.
