MADISON, WIS. – Edgewood University Men's Tennis kicked off their 2025-26 season Sunday at Quann Park. They took on Saint Ambrose in non-conference action. The Bees (1-1) got the better the Eagles (0-1) 5-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saint Ambrose started off doubles with a 6-1 victory over
Andrew Hoffmann and
Jon Olafsson in the second slot. They clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 final over
Ryder Broadbridge and
Marek Woytasik in top billing.

Ryan Casey and
Justin Hutchcroft conceded a 6-3 result in the third slot.
- Casey rallied in sixth singles for a 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-3) victory. The Bees bounced back with a 6-2, 7-5 final over Hutchcroft in the third slot.
- Broadbridge conceded a 6-4, 7-5 final in no. 1 singles, while Hoffmann kept Edgewood University in the match with a 6-7 (4-7), 6-3, 1-0 (10-5) rally in fifth billing.
- The Bees put a bow on the match with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Olafsson in the second slot. Woytasik conceded a 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) heartbreaker in the no. 4 singles.
UP NEXT
Edgewood University will return to the courts next Sunday. They will travel to Waukesha, Wis. to take on Carroll and Ripon. First serve is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
