WAUKESHA, Wis. – Men's Tennis hit the road for the first time in the 2025-26 season Sunday. They took on the Carroll Pios and the Ripon Red Hawks. The Pios (2-0) earned a 6-1 victory off the back of a strong singles showing, before the Eagles (1-2) blanked the Red Hawks (0-2) 7-0.
MATCH ONE: CARROLL 6, EDGEWOOD UNIVERSITY 1
- The Eagles claimed a hard-fought doubles point.
Ryder Broadbridge and
Andrew Hoffmann earned a 6-4 victory in top billing, while
Jon Olafsson and
Justin Hutchcroft won 7-6 (7-3) in the second slot.

Ethan Towne and
Ryan Casey teamed up for a 7-6 (7-4) result in no. 3 doubles.
- The Pios kicked off their rally in singles. Broadbridge conceded a close 5-7, 7-5, 1-0 (10-5) loss in the top slot, before Olafsson fell 6-2, 7-5 in no. 2 singles.
- Carroll kept rolling, earning a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Huchcroft and a 6-4, 6-2 final against
Marek Woytasik in third and fourth singles respectively.
- Hoffmann fell to a 6-3, 6-2 result in fifth singles, before Casey dropped a 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (11-9) result in the sixth slot.
MATCH TWO, EDGEWOOD UNIVERSITY 7, RIPON 0
- The Eagles flew out of the gate in doubles. Broadbridge/Hoffmann and Olafsson/Hutchcroft earned 6-2 victories in no. 1 and no. 2 doubles.
- Casey/Towne rounded out a potent doubles display with a 6-1 final.
- Broadbridge and Olafsson kept flying high in singles with 6-4, 6-3 and 7-5, 6-0 results in no. 1 and 2 singles.
- Hutchcroft claimed a 6-2, 6-1 final in no. 3 singles, before Hoffmann was victorious in the fourth slot.
- After Casey notched a 6-1, 6-0 result in the fifth slot,
William Faley rounded out the clean sheet with a 6-1, 5-7, 1-0 (10-5) final in no. 6 singles.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Edgewood University is 4-1 all-time versus the Red Hawks.
