MADISON, Wis. – Edgewood University Women's Tennis returned to Quann Park Tuesday afternoon for a NACC battle. They took on the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons. The Eagles (7-1, 4-0 NACC) kept their conference momentum rolling with a 7-0 victory over the Falcons (3-3, 3-2).
HOW IT HAPPENED

Sophia Perret and
Hattie Plenty kicked things off with a 6-3 final in no. 2 doubles.
Christina Ekkela and
Baylee Knott clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 result in the third slot.

Evelyn Taylor and
Kaitlyn Narkis shined in top doubles with a 6-2 victory.
- Perret left little room for doubt in a 6-2, 6-0 tally in no. 3 singles.
Lauryn Krober put Edgewood University on the doorstep of victory with a 6-1, 6-3 win in the sixth slot.
- Ekkela closed the door on the match with a 6-4, 6-2 final in fifth billing.
- Narkis put together a strong rally in fourth singles with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 win.
- Taylor and Plenty put the finishing touches on the sweep with a pair of hard-fought battles. Taylor won 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8) in the top spot, while Plenty rounded out the match with a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6) victory.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Eagles have won back-to-back matches against Concordia Wisconsin. They hold a 14-13 lead in the all-time series.
UP NEXT
Edgewood University will head to St. Peter, Minn. this weekend. They will battle in the ITA Midwest Regional. First serve is scheduled for Friday.
